A place to gather and enjoy nature. This was our clients vision. They built an outdoor room to gather, eat, and enjoy the beautiful view behind their home with family and friends.

During our design consultation with them, we discussed the seating needs and activities that would take place in the outdoor room and designed a furniture and accessory plan to fit their needs. We chose a beautiful Teak Table from Ballard Designs to be the focal point of the room and to accommodate dining. We paired the table with Black Bistro Chairs to ground the space and complement the stone tile floor.

They enjoy watching TV and sitting by the fireplace in the outdoor room so we incorporated two Teak Chairs complete with cream cushions. A marble top gold framed table placed in between the chairs is the perfect spot for a lamp, gold dish, and wood box to hide the remote. A small wood footstool is a great place to set your book or your feet!

The fireplace mantle is decorated with a basket to conceal small items, plant, books, and a watering can. The cushion stool nearby adds a bit more seating for little ones as well.

As you enter the door you will find my favorite little spot with my favorite Dorchester Bench from Ballard Designs. Its classic French country feel and hand woven rush seat fit perfectly in so many spaces. The pillow and faux fiddle leaf fig plant add the finishing touch.
